i have a scripty friend who bought a 50 dollar software and cable that plugs into BNC and so he is able to capture footage straight from 35mm film cameras,pro-sumer dig. camera's into his pc labtop.

it doesn't work with RED, but he said he has seen it done. has anyone seen a low-cost way to capture footage from Red to a pc or mac computer.

i am wondering about the three hd-sdi plugs on the side of the program and if you can connect it to a bnc with some type of adaptor.

if that is possible and i can get a feed this SOFTWARE i referred to goes from BNC straight to a pc computer and can capture footage for a cheap playback method.

Not really the software you need but the hardware. Any card from Blackmagic or AJA would do the trick. Also there's an HDMI signal out of the RED but that's typically reserved for monitoring, not playback or script supervisor.
