Experienced Camera Person Needed (Seattle)
Hello!
Since we are supposedly in a low-budget economy, we are looking to shoot Seattle's grittiest low-budget film.
We are seeking the talents of an experienced camera operator.
You must:
1. have very nice shooting talents and a very nice camera that will produce an excellent image on screen
2. have a no-b.s. attitude
3. be willing to work for no money--this isn't about getting paid, this is about making a film. Those who work for no money are the world's truest filmmakers.
4. be on-time and enthusiastic
5. take direction well
6. want to participate in some really gritty, really raw, hardcore filmmaking
Thank you!
Talk to you soon, whoever you are.
I'm all about the love of film making, heck I've been known to do quite a few projects for free, but it always erks me when people say "a true artist is one who will work for free."
I'm sure most if not all of us are in this business because we love what we do, but when does getting paid for what you love to do disqualify you as a true artist?
Best part is, obviously this experienced camera operator should be good enough to have purchased their own equipment, that this crew would then like to use for free.:unhappy:
