cp2 lenses ??

i hate to ask , but i have never worked with the zeiss cp 1 or 2 lenses .
are these compact primes feature worthy , or intermediary ?
lens prices are fluxuating a lot as of late . so price doesnt seem to dictate
quality...
anyone know of any projects that shot with these?
id love to really see what they can do .

I tested them.. They work fine for almost everything.

Most glass is feature worthy, even stills glass. It's the handling of focus that trips you up. Pulling focus is a bastard with the wrong lens, bad marks, short throws, etc...

But optically, you are more than safe. Look how soft some of the shots in the last Batman looked... and that was shot 70mm film... Le Mis... soft. But the movies still looked great ~

I have a set and use them for almost every job. Great image quality and a great price for a set of well marked PL mount lenses. You could absolutely shoot a feature on them.
