Couple Quick How To's

Just got my red scarlet in the mail. I read the manual but still had a couple questions.

I cant figure out how to take stills

And i cant seem to get the camera to auto focus my 50 1.2 L. however when i snapped it on it seemed to have focused and the camera is reading it.

You have to set you focus method to single (read the manual) and ensure the lens is set to AF. Default auto-focus is a half-press of the side-handle or side-body rec button.

As for stills; you can't take a still per se... You pull the single frame from the video footage and use that as a still.
