I was at a best buy to check out some UHD sets, and all but one of them were playing 4k content.

James,

I wonder what the content was. Other than streaming (Netflix, Amazon, and maybe a couple others) where are they getting the content from? I would guess it was just a demo item or upscales from blue-ray disks as it's my understanding that Sony hasn't released any 4k blue-ray disks yet (sometime in '15). It's just amazing to me how we're putting that much emphasis on 4k sets with so little content...it reminds me of the 3-D push we had two years ago...which ended up being a bust (how many TVs introduced this year have 3D built in?)...

Just a disclaimer, I actually have a LED LCD 3D set and enjoy it...occasionally...lol! =)

Also,

I love Costco! Kirkland can do no wrong in my book!

It's actually playing 1080p 25Mbps+ version of that channel. I've yet to figure out to get the Samsung sets to accept those 4K rips from YouTube. I need to spend more time with the sets.

The video is from Jacob + Katie S' channel.
