Hi , I have a problem with the first frame of R3D files .
Not each time but sometimes . For the moment, I can shoot but it's worrying.
Has anyone had this problem before?
Thank you .
Phil

Check to see if the source/on-the-card .r3d has the same corruption, as stuff like that can happen during transfer and not necessarily at capture. If it is on the card, try secure formatting your media.

Unfortunately corruption like that could be caused by a few things (none of them are good); it could be the camera/sensor, but it could also be something as indirect as your batteries being old and having trouble supplying enough juice off-the-hop of hitting record for a split second, or it could be that the media itself is EOL or fragmented (hence secure formatting and/or not rolling out all the time).
