Just finished up a long few days of shooting, and I was doing some tests for the next project.

I shot a 1 minute clip and went to the in camera playback, and the clip plays until a certain point, then stutters and skips around through the rest of the clip. Ok I thought, just a playback bug.
When I take that same clip and offload into RCX, the clip only plays partially through, then stops showing frames with only the playback head is moving. Haven't had time to export something from the r3d yet.
Next job I'm going to be checking every take out of paranoia.

Anyone have experience with this happening? What was your resolution, repairs imminent, or did it only happen once or twice?
Going to test more tonight and open a ticket, but regardless I wanted to check in w the community as well
Thanks.

Haven't seen this. I would contact support, and also re-load the current firmware. Reinstalling the firmware has solved pretty much any "bug" I've ever encountered.

Another possibility: mark whatever card it was recorded to. A bad block on the card could cause something like this, maybe.
