  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hoping to save some time and money in case anyone owns some of the Focus Gears and Conversion Mounts I need.

I am currently looking for Cordvision or Alternative Follow Focus Gears and Leitax Contax C/Y to Canon EF Conversion Mounts for the following lenses:


Contax C/Y - 18/4 MMJ (Leitax Narrow Mount Variant)

Contax C/Y - 28/2.8 MMJ (Leitax Narrow Mount Variant)

Contax C/Y - 100/2 MMJ (Leitax Wide Mount Variant)

This post was long ago. In case you still need them, I have cine modded with Cordvision front 80 mm cap (77 mm filter thread), leitax canon EF mount and focus gear from www.followfocusgears.com. The iris declick was done by a local lens technician. You can check DIY video on this.

My lenses (24, 35, 50, 85, 135) all work perfectly.
