I am a first time Red Owner and recently purchased a New Red Epic W so I maybe like a new parent here with a new born and over worrying..but since the fans pull in air, any issues when working in an outdoor environment or areas where it's not completely dust free? Does is pull a lot of debris in and do I need to send it in once a year for cleaning or maintenance? Any maintenance required on a routine basis?

The heat sink should be sealed so no worries about some dust going into the air path, but I woulnd't pour water in it though !!! ;-)

On the old body (Epic DSMC1) you had to clean sometimes the heat sink behind the intake fan wich was in the front bottom of the camera.

I do think that dust/hair/debris will also enter the air flow path of the DSMC2 body. So I suppose It will also be necessary but I don't have any experience with it. Time will tell.

Now if it is possible to take off DSMC2 fan? That, I don't know...
