I can't believe that lens hasn't been snatched up. At that price you could use it on a crash camera! LOL

I have one and wanted to sell but now I "suddenly" want to KEEP IT!!!!

It's a great zoom lens that between T5.6 & T8 (zones that are out of CA) gives you the same quality as Cooke S4s.

ALL IN ONE LENS!!!

If you know/how to use it then who cares for breathing...

JUST COUNT!!!

Hey Sanjin!

Even those early Varotals should be "clean" by around f4.5 or so. A decent cine lens tech. should be able to futz around with the compensator group and a couple of other tricks and get your lens better before f5.6 or 8

CHUCK.

good idea and I'm still thinking to send the lens to Germany (P+S Technik) or England (Cooke) for a proper collimation...

Always good to have your zooms checked once in a while. It might be a bit more then just setting up the front (tele) focus and rear (wide) back focus or what is commonly refered to as collimation. But then again mayby not. lol
