  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Cooke SP3 FullFrame lenses

These look really cool but still kind of pricey for a full set, definitely running up against some vintage and current mid-tier options. However, the "Cooke Look" is a thing and I do like the look of the newer S8i series so these are definitely in the running for a set purchase in the future. My favorite aspect is the interchangeable mirrorless mount system, honestly, if these can do it I wonder why others can't as it shows that there shouldn't have to be a constant buy/sell cycle for third-party manual mirrorless lenses if the optics are the same, it's all just an adapter on the back end. Hopefully we start seeing more mirrorless or modern mount adaptations for more vintage lenses like Meyer Optik is doing for the Zeiss Biotars and now these classic Cooke designed mirrorless lenses, there's some cool designs that have run scarce and become rare that could be selling well if somebody picks up the ball. Guess we'll have to see how these do in time.
