Hello,I've spent the last 2 years working with an engineer that makes lenses for Panavision designing new rehousings for classic lenses. The prototyping is finished and I'll be getting the first set in February. I'd like to offer you guys the opportunity to get your panchros rehoused by us. The lenses are amazing. There are some photos of the prototype and a video link (very rough cut) of the first tests, at the bottom of this thread. I can offer a a set of 6 for £8000 + VAT which is £4500 off the price that we will be offering the re-housings for. For now I can only offer this to 2 people. First come first serve. More info to come in the future... We will soon be offering the same for the super baltars and schneider cine xenons..
Here's a little bit of info on the lens housings:
Accelerated focus movement with delrin cam followers, as used in the cooke s4s and s5s. This spreads the focus scale nicely and offers more control focusing on characters in the distance and close up.
300 degrees barrel rotationLow friction aperture and focus ring movements
All lenses are the same size with 110mm fronts for ease of use when changing lenses (no messing with the matt box)
Stainless PL Mounts
Made from Brass, steel and aluminium
Designed by film makers and crafted by the same engineers that make lenses for panavsion.

We are very impressed with the initial tests, this is the 25mm, we will make some changes to make the lenses even better (there are a few aesthetic, ergonomic, mistakes with the prototype, the mechanics are excellent), Contact me at primelenzes@gmail.com if you are interested in getting some made with us for the first batch at the discounted price of £8000 for a set of 6 (18,25,32,40,50,75) The deep filled panchro will be next.. (as soon as the initial 6 have been put into production)...
