Anyone on the NAB Floor, are there cooke anamorphics on display? maybe at ZGC booth?

They are there, Geoff Boyle reports that if ordered today, 12 month wait list and that's for e 32-100 , 25 and 135 coming later.

Which is kinda awesome actually. Hopefully I can start renting these.

Not quite, no 25mm or 135mm until later down the line. 12 months for the 32-100, I'll probably put an order in for the 32,50,75,100 just waiting for UK prices...gulp.

I am ok without the 25 and 135 for a while. The 32-100 is the main FL's anyway.

Bob Gundu and I had the opportunity to check out the booth where they were showing the footage shot the night prior in Vegas on the new anamorphics. We were both blown away by just how beautiful the image was. Super sharp, even T stop performance and wonderful skintones.

I spent quite a bit of time talking to a few of the engineers and sales people and they were hearing the same thing that I noticed... the new Zeiss anamorphics are no where near the Cooke's in terms of ovular bokeh and flare performance. Not to mention, the Cooke's are better built and their characteristic look compliments the anamorphic style. Oh, and the Cookes are only 27.5k each!
