when did I said that I want to buy your RED for $30K? I honestly don't know who you are and this is the first time I post on this site.

I think I know what address you are talking about, I could be wrong but is this the address you are talking about?

If this is the address than you are actually talking about an identity theft / fraud case I got involved in this Feb.

Notice that my address is "randy_che0404@hotmail.com"

This year around Feb, I got an offer (saw this posting on ebay) by someone stated that he has a RED ONE camera body for sell for 20K. We communicated through e-mail a couple of times, but when I ask him to provide me some pictures of the camera with a peace of paper that has my name "Randy" on it, this scammer proceed to creat this YAHOO account and e-mail several RED owners posing as me, offering them 30K for the camera in order to obtain the picture that "I" ask him to send me. The only reason that I caught this is because Justin from HD CINEMA GROUP some how got a hold of my REAL phone number and actually reaches me through phone, that both of us realize that we been scammed. no money got lost, but I have no idea how many people this guy e-mailed posing as me. Justin from HD CINEMA GROUP can prove this for me.

If this is not the case you are talking about, and if I did offer you 30K (althuogh I honestly have no recolloection of this, I did however bid on one RED CAM on ebay and not win #88 if I remember correctly) Please remind me when.

I am not here to cause any trouble, and I've worked in the industry here in Vancouver for several years. I am not active in the online community but I do read a lot of this post. My close friend Norm Li is fairly active on this forum, and I believe he can prove that I am not here to pull any scam.

Oh, Randy, did you sort out the audio problems you were having last weekend? If you don't have an alternative miniXLR adaptor to see if that was the culprit drop by with the Red and we can test with mine.

We haven't sort out the audio thing, it is very strange. I would love to do more test with you. I 'll call you tomorrow if you are available.

No worries Randy, I'll be awake and writing on Tony's screenplay by 07:00 so ring me up any time after that. We'll see if we can get to the bottom of that audio. We can't have the Red lookin' bad out there now can we... or that should be soundin' bad out there?

I was messing around with three different Reds yesterday and all of them were fine with the audio under Build 15.
