Hi all,

Just bought a Cooke 20-100mm... It doesn't however come with the lens support required, price reflected that so no worries!

I was wondering if anyone know of a RED style, ie. cheap and cheerful support for 19mm bars for this lens?

I was thinking something a bit like this-
http://www.vfgadgets.com/Lens_Support.htm

but I guess I'm also going to need a T-bar or similar for my lens, any bright spark make these for the 20-100mm?... Or do I have to hunt down an original?

Can anyone shed some light on this??

Thanks very much!

You can use the universal mount from Red as a support , that is probably the cheapest solution.
The ring on the lens is harder to find. I was lucky and found an orginal one. I´ve a ring from 15mm Arri Standard left over.
if this is of any use let me know.

But you still need a clamping ring or strap to fit around the lens body itself. Just sitting the lens on a "T" bar isn't going to do much in the way of support.
