With Contax Zeiss lenses (I believe all the primes) have about 270' rotation. About 3/4 of a full rotation.
Its way more than a photo lens, but less than a cine lens. It also doesn't have as much markings as a cine, but more than a photo.

One of the lenses I have is about 196mm in circumference. So, its small.
I will be attaching large lens gears (such as the redrock ones) to make it a larger lens.

I've been wondering if I can get a normal follow focus that is 1.0x, since its not really a photo lens.
or would I still be better off getting the photo follow focus version from OConnor with 0.75x?

Its that a normal 1.0x will be cheaper for me.
It also seems that I will not need a 0.75x as it already has a large rotation compared to photo lenses, and with the addition of the large lens gear, it should be similar to a cine lens.

What do you think id need?

Not all Contax Zeiss lenses have 270 degrees of rotation. In fact most of them do not. I own a bunch, so I know this to be a fact. There are a few with only 90 degrees of rotation for instance, though I would say the average is around 180 degrees.
I have an O'Connor Photo DM follow focus I have been thinking about selling though because I have bought a set of CP.2's, so if you are interested PM me here.
