Hey everyone stupid question here. I have tons of footage shot with Contax glass, what's the best way to post stills here and have them appear in my reply, not just as attachments. Is there a file size limit per jpg?
This thread is what turned me on to Contax, couldn't be happier with the lenses

for that 2 shot of the guys it was a 12x ultrabounce with a m18 hmi into it behind and beside the white guy, and then another m18 shooting through full grid behind and beside the black dude, a few flags, had a nd grad filter in and 1/4 Hollywood blackmagic filter, no change at all for the close shot, just moved camera and put in a 1/2 hollywood
Hey everyone, I have posted this in the shot on red forum already, but since over half of my reel is shot on contax I figured I should share in here. Love these lenses.
Don't know if this is the right place to post this. It was shot on Canon 1D mk iv but used a couple of Contax Zeiss Lenses, one of which (1.4/50mm) was purchased from a long term contributor to this thread - Ben Scott. Anyway here is a link to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF0cWjeSBuU
It's pretty rough and massively oversaturated - heavily softened and mucked around with but such is the nature of no budget pop promos.
I've used a Red One once and would love to have the money, know how, storage and backbone to use Red again but for the moment I have a beaten up old Canon, 2 lenses and an old Clevo, which I kind of love.
Anyway, I came to these contax lenses through this thread. It's a positive, warm and supporting place with a wealth of good information - something quite rare in any film making forums these days I think.
I hope I can learn to make better use of these lenses. They have so much potential... and Nick is Gold for starting and overseeing this phenomenon which is the Contax Zeiss Survival Guide.
... is there a big difference in mutar I, II, III? the 3 is probably the most modern im assuming. i was just worried because i see the mutar seems to have an extra mechanism on the back mount.
