  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

If I decide to break up the set I'll post the options here. A lot of folks have expressed interest in individual lenses or pairings. Since I want to sell it all I could possibly consider opening the set up contingent on all (or most) of the lenses being accounted for before they can go. I'll do some research and break down the individual pricing, but still gonna give it a few days as there are still quite a few bites out there.

Of course, I would cry a bit having to break up such a beautiful family, but its a pain I may be willing to suffer. ;)

I've made a decision to take the Contax Set off the market for now.
In the last day I've realized that I need to have a solid set of glass handy, even if I don't physically put it to work all of the time.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused by my miscalculation.

Having an in-house set is always a good idea. Makes sense!

Thanks. Yeah. Just realized that although I don't use the Contax very often they need to stick around until I can bring in a more commercial alternative.

I love having my in-house set. My jobs are often fast turn around, and a lot are small to mid budget, so having to rent glass every time is a huge pain in the ass. Also, I love having variety. My Contax set is multicam, and goes from 16mm fisheye to 300mm. I can cover ANYTHING in ANY WAY...quickly...with small lenses that look cinematic that are all modded with 77mm fronts. Unless I have a huge job that requires cine glass (say for complicated focus) or a big ass zoom...my kit does the job time in...and time out....and all fits into two cases.
