For sale is a set of trusty Contax Zeiss glass that has been modded to EF mount through the Leitax adapters.

The Contax 17-35mm was modded through the electronics, and was thus much more expensive. Doing the mod yourself costs about $1,000 not including custom fees and wait time. Iris control and autofocus does work on the 17-35mm. We love these lenses, but are looking to move on to glass in cinema housing. Though you certainly could rehouse these, we are looking to move towards a set of Vespid Primes quickly and don't have the time for a rehouse.

Contax Zeiss MMJ 25mm f/2.8 $500 Serial 729****
In wonderful condition. There's nothing wrong with the glass. The physical appearance has a few dings here and there, but nothing worth mentioning. Again, glass was bought in mint condition, and it still is in mint condition in my opinion.
Contax Zeiss MMJ 35mm f/1.4 $1,700 Serial 728****
The creme of this set. Still regarded as one of the best fast 35mm's, this lens produces a very pleasing image. If I don't need a zoom, this is the first lens I reach for. The coatings show some scratches on the front, but I have yet to notice anything that effects the image.
Contax Zeiss MMJ 50mm f/1.4 $400 Serial 725****
The exterior of this lens is a little banged up, but the focus ring and aperture still work perfectly. The glass is in mint condition.
Contax Zeiss MMJ 85mm f/1.4 $600 Serial 739****
The 85mm is in great condition. No dents or dings, it looks like a few scratches on the coatings, but again, nothing that I have ever noticed in shooting with them.
Contax Zeiss MMJ 35-70mm f/3.4 $400 Serial 702****
My favorite and most used lens in this set. Ask anyone about this lens, most have had wonderful experiences with it. This lens does have some marks on the front of the glass. I was actually surprised it had marks, because I haven't noticed a thing in the images this lens produces. The MACRO mode is quite handy as well.
Contax Zeiss MMJ 17-35mm f/2.8 N $3,500
Lens has a ding at the top, but it's purely cosmetic. The glass is in absolute mint condition. You won't find a better wide angle zoom even to this day. Matches very well with the set above.
