I have for sale a Contax Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 Planar T* MMJ lens in excellent condition. The iris has been professionally declicked by Duclos Lenses in California. This is a great lens for cinema, and would be perfect for someone who is building a Contax cine-mod set. (The lens has not yet been fully modded - only declicked.)
Serial Number: 7903050
Includes:
front and rear caps
Contax 67/86 ring
Contax metal hood 4
Contax 67mm 1A MC filter
Cosmetically, the lens is in superb condition and looks like new. The mechanics work flawlessly. The optics are clean and clear.
I have noticed the lens is very slightly softer on the left side than the right, but it's only visible if you spend a lot of time shooting test charts and flat walls. In normal shooting situations, such as portraits, the lens is amazing.
Recently, the lens went through a complete inspection, cleaning, and adjustment by the official Contax shop for the USA, Nippon Photoclinic in New York.
The lens is located in Burbank, CA. I'm asking $600 + $20 shipping via Paypal. 100% money back return policy within 7 days.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions, and thanks for looking!
