I have an offline project that I have that I've cut with proxies. I want to consolidate the footage and copy only what I need to a new hard drive so I can bring it into the post-house for a color-correct session. They are debayering the footage. How do I media manage the .r3d files?

why do you want to consolidate? how big is your project (how many hours of material do you have?)?

I've been testing the latest version of Monkey Extract, and it works very well. The only problem I've come across in the latest version is that it still isn't reading the meta data from the camera correctly without a .rsx file in the folder. I've worked around this bringing each shot into Red Alert and simply clicking "metadata" and this creates the .rsx file I need. After that it works great.

3 terabytes

3 terabytes

We have 3 terabytes of original footage. I'd hate to bring this all into a post-house.
