Consider Scarlet a Downpayment on the Future of Cinema

[John Bellari]

Consider Scarlet a Downpayment on the Future of Cinema...

I had a near religious experience recently cranking up my dad's Super 8 reels
from 40 years ago on the still barely working super 8 projector...

Just look at what Red has proposed in the next year on the roadmap announced,
study the forums, consider ourselves fortunate to get in on the ground floor
starting at $10K-15K and stop quibbling about prices.

Can't afford it today, rent, use what you got and then save up...

I have every expectation Red is conquering the high end of cinema today
only to eventually come around and serve the under $10K buyers thru new simpler products or
licensing their technology to trusted partners for mass production...

I hope my and your kids 40 years from now have a similar near religious
experience watching your Scarlet footage on a dusty Red Projector...

Thanks for democratizing cinema for us small cats...

Because The Future runs at 12 frames per second! ;-)
