Hi
I just booked RED and surprised to get info like no EVF no LCD for months.
How do I shoot? What should I do with my camera -EVF, LCD?
If I buy now, what is my fate about the upgrade to Epic?
Is there any place where I can study about things I should buy along with my first camera? So many question...No opt answers anywhere in forum.:bored:

As far as the Epic upgrade information ... Unfortunately, the full trade in offer was discontinued as of May 22nd.

All the official stage clarification and information can be found here:

In terms of the EVF and LCD availablity ... you're guess is as good as mine. :confused5:

However, you can check for updates at this link:

Or, if in a real bind, you can contact Red and/or Jon Sagud directly.

Hope this helps a little. :001_smile:

You may consider looking into a "used" piece of equiptment to get started.
"Jobs / Equipment For Hire" has listings for LCD's and EVF's and is located at the bottom of the home page.
Good Luck
