This works...
I use Final Cut to "Log and Transfer" RED R3D files into ProRes HQ.
Then I use Media Manager to make an offline copy of my edit sequence.
Batch Capture will open the "Log and Transfer" window so I can transcode and connect to REDCODE QuickTimes to send to Color.

This doesn't...
If I have imported ProRes HQ QuickTimes created in RedRushes.
Then I use Media Manager to make an offline copy of my edit sequence.
When I try to Batch Capture, I get the "Log and Capture" not the "Log and Transfer" window.

So far, all I have been able to do is "Log and Transfer" my master clips and reconnect to them manually.

What am I missing to get RedRushes created ProRes files to behave like the ones I create with Final Cut's Long and Transfer?

Sorry this thread came up twice, my browser hung for ten minutes.

No sooner did I post this, I saw the similar thread below. http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25368

So, as suggested this works pretty well...

Create 2k ProRes HQ files in RedRushes.
Edit in Final Cut Pro at 2048x1024.
Export a XML of your edit.
Open ClipFinder and under the Edit Menu, "Run Conform on FCP XML File"
Conform to H Proxies.
Import new conformed XML into FCP.
Send to Color

I'm not sure what backflips will be needed for timelines with 3k clips mixed in.

Any comments or improvements?

If you get the "looping bug" happen in Color, use Colorfixer to fix the Color project.
