Hello. We have a feature we're about to conform on DS 10.2.1 and have come up against an edgecode issue. The story so far; Red files were run through Metafuze to create DNxHD36 mxf for offline which all worked ok apart from the first weeks rushes being rendered out with edgecode and the following two weeks rushes with absolute/TOD code. All went in to the Media Composer ok and an AFE was exported to the DS.
The DS conformed all the absolute/TOD code material without a problem, but won't link to any of the edgecode material. I made a new Avid sequence just of the edgecode material and tried conforming it with Edgecode selected on the DS import page, no luck. I then took the same sequence and inserted two clips with absolute TC, exported to DS and conformed with the edgecode option selected and only the clips with absolute TC where conformed.
This means we either have to import all the edgecode clips into DS and eyematch them into the sequence, or we can modify the Start code and in-points in Media Composer to match the absolute code. Both of them will be fairly time consuming. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you get around it ? Our local Avid support team were unable to help and suggested the Red forum.
Thank you

I am told this is fixed with DS v10.3 announced today. It may require a two pass conform, but you can conform.
