I just did a factory reset on my raven, so am putting in all the pieces. I use FoolControl via Infrastructure. And...I have only a sidekick, not touch screen. So I worked through the menu...Settings/Setup/Communications/WiFi. I selected Infrastructure from the Mode Menu, scanned to find my little router dedicated to this task, selected it, selected the correct security method and entered the passpharse. I THINK, the password might be the issues. I enter it letter by letter and use the center button on the scrollwheel to tell the system I like it. I don't see an OK option anywhere on the sidekick screen. I've enabled DHCP as well.

I'm not getting a connection...
When I circle back to check the pass word it looks like it's empty.
When I check the status of the wifi it always says "Disabled"

Hey Andy,

I had major issues with my Raven and wifi on older firmware,
but my issue was connecting directly to the in-built wifi via the Ad-Hoc mode.

Kept coming up with a notice of just "error".

I found once I got the firmware update on there from around the time of the start of IPP2 implementation, it seems to fix the issue.

Not sure if this will help you sorry.

Always using Ad-Hoc with no problems, however, there are some locations that cause major problems with connectioning and operation. The nature of Wi-Fi I guess.
