Guys anybody can suggest best settings for exporting from final cut to vimeo... i made everything as vimeo told but my picture is not so sharp and a little bit darker....

I use the current issue of Compressor with good results. Over saturate a bit since that will get beaten up with compression.

for me the main thing is sharpness... can't understand what's the problem, for example when i make according to vimeo instructions best compression settings for my scarlet footage it seems softer on vimeo 30%... and people can,t see my result.

Have a look at this thread.

I've had great results using these settings for Vimeo from FCP7.

I would export a high quality pro res version then use a free program called mpeg stream clip. Change to mp4 h264 in that and set the bitrate to around 9000kbps. That should give you a decent looking version for Vimeo
