I’m getting ready to depart on an 18 month long project with extensive travel that will not require any RED footage, so instead of storing my Scarlet I’m going to sell the entire system. Currently, I have everything with me in Bali, Indonesia, but I will be leaving for the US on Jan 28 and everything is coming back with me.
Here’s a brief listing of everything that is in the package:
Scarlet X with Side SSD and Titanium Canon lens mount, Side Handle, 5” Touchscreen LCD, Bomb EVF (LCOS), 64GB RedMag, 128GB RedMag, RedStation, RedMote, RED LINK Bridge WiFi, RED Fan upgrade (both top and front), 12” EVF cable, 18” EVF Cable, 5”RED Arm, DSMC Power Pack (2 RedVolt Batts and charger), DSMC AC Adapter, RED V-Mount Battery Belt Clip, DSCM Top Mount, 10’ LEMO-XLR Power cable. Also included are the following Non-RED manufactured items: 3 ea. Global Media Pro 160AH V-mount batteries, 2 ea. Switronix 95AH V-Mount Batteries, Dual Position V-Mount Battery Charger, A custom built 3 axis carbon fiber gimbal, Gini-Rig Shoulder mount 19mm rail system, Element Technica rain cover. There are also a bunch of little odds and ends like hard cases for some of the DSMC components, etc.
All together, this gear cost nearly $28,000 new. I will sell the lot for $17,250. I would prefer to sell it as a complete package, so I have priced everything a bit lower than I would if I were piecing it out. That said, I will sell a subset of the system, and then sell off the remaining items individually. So here are two alternate systems:
Option A $12,900- Scarlet X, SSD side mount, Canon Titanium mount, Side Handle, 5” Touchscreen, 64GB RedMAG, RED Station, Fan Upgrade, 12” EVF Cable, DSMC Power Pack, V-Mount battery belt clip, 2ea Switronic 95 AH V-mount batteries, and a dual V-Mount charger.
Option B $14,500 - As above but substitute the Bomb EVF for the 5” Touchscreen and add DSMC top mount and 5” RED Arm.
I’m open to other configurations, as long as it includes the major components of a functional system, so feel free to ask. I have everything in a spreadsheet for pricing, so I can customize a configuration easily.
PayPal is OK, but if you pay by bank transfer, it will save me the PayPal fees and I can reduce the price accordingly. The price also does not include the RED transfer of ownership fee which you are responsible for. If you buy the whole system (or one of the smaller configurations, I will include free shipping in the US via FedEx or UPS Standard. If you want faster shipping, or international shipping, you only need to pay the differential. If you want the camera sent directly to RED for the ownership formalities and the rest shipped directly to you, that’s OK too.
Also, in February I will be traveling through Eastern Europe (Czech, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia), as well as Austria and Italy, so It would also be possible for me to bring the system with me to save shipping and duty<
