The complaint is with some of the "redusers" that are mad about the new pricing.
The praise is to Red for the honesty about the new pricing and the reason for it.
I find it rather funny how people are complaining about cheaper prices. I hope that Jim isn't reconsidering the price drop due to the complaints. It would have been really easy for Red to keep the prices the way they were and pocket major profits. Other companies would have done that and no one would have ever known. For me personally I didn't buy this camera for resale value. If I had, I would have sold it the minute I received it since I bought it at the original pricing. No, I bought it to use it.
For those that feel they lost money in the deal, you just need to buy another one and your overall "loss" will be half as much.
So for everyone at Red, I want you to know that there are people out there that have been on the Red train for years that are glad to be part of the family and don't feel "slighted" at all!
