  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

some impressions and first stills from epic of our commercial shoot on tenerife in spain.
as everytime, it´s amazing that every still out of epic is a high quality photo either.
film is in postproduction, TV version is already on air, but director´s cut will have quit different look, i will post when finished

no problems at all with 2 epics during 4 days shoot out

jpgs and h264 qt´s can never justify the real quality of the master (i did an 2K master of this clip) and especially the landscape shots look amazing on a HD and especially 2K beamer) -

images are rich and colorful (intended) with endless details , ...

the shots were partly done in difficult light situations (high noon soon, high contrasts) but the epic handled it very well - looking forward for dragon, to have even more room in the highlights.

but the biggest advantage of this camera , no suprise, is its size and handling. lots of shots were done from hand, and stabilized later. you can capture impressions like a tourist with photocamera - and gives a lot of more creativity and footage, that would be not possible with a bigger or heavier camera, especially when shooting in time pressure and budget limits.

clip will upload soon on vimeo, but as said, caused by compressions can´t reach the real quality of it at all
