i want to share another beautiful region of the world, out there in the north of germany at border to danmark, Sylt Island

Rafael Grasse and me shot footage for a sportswear label (it´s a label for the generation 50+) -

i did a longer black and white version from the footage, it´s not the Monochrome, just took off color from my Epic M - but i like it very much ...

i just see 2 issues with the vimeo compression in the highlights, it´s not in the master, i will try to fix it with a better compression later, sorry for that, it´s not the material ...

unfortunately we only had one day to shoot all - the bad weather forced us to hurry up - there are many many more locations worth to shoot on this island ... and the light at good weather in the evening is magic, on our shooting day ... we had massive rain from 6 pm on, ... it´s what it is

Wow, that is brilliant. The fact, that it was shot in just one day makes this work even more remarkable. I can just imagine how this would look like with Monochrome camera. May be next time?

Monochrome would be a dream, but i have to save my money for my double Dragon Update ;-) and then, for sure, i go back to Sylt and catch those magic lights in the evening. Our friends with Red cameras out there in danmark and scandinavia are lucky people ...

maybe a rental Monochrome next time ...

i went through the footage , the highlight issue (when they fall into sand) is caused by compression, in the master it´s hard at the border but still a safe roll off, maybe i must do a new grade with more information in the highlights, the Raw shows enough)

i would love to shoot the same stuff with dragon as real life 1:1 comparison ;-)
