Deanan,

What color space do you suggest using in photoshop when exporting a snapshot? When I click "Send to Photoshop" the images open in a colorspace "display". Is there a way to export to a specific color space?...I'm guessing "display" probably is not a very wide gamut.

thanks

Display is your current monitor profile selected.

Under the tiff export dialog you can select your profile you want to use but all that does is assign a profile. It doesn't let you grade in that profile.

I prefer to export with no profile or ignore the profile on import into photoshop.

Likewise for the wider gamut on the look development side, you can use REDcolor2 or Adobe 1998.

thanks for the info

I'm exporting frame grabs for my stitched panoramas to be printed.

can REDcolor2 be added as a color space to edit in photoshop? just thinking out-loud..but wouldn't you want to keep it in redcolor2 from redcine-x to photoshop and only changed to the print paper profile at the end? I'm guessing its probably not the best to go from redcolor2 in redcine-x to say prophoto in photoshop and then to the printer profile at the end..
