color tab not working...

I have posted this problem a number of times and nobody seems to respond...if anybody has had this problem or could help it would be greatly appreciated!

I am working on a macbook... and have attached 3 pics of what I am seeing. When the "red" tab is "enabled" the screen turns black....even when I bring exposure up etc. On a firewire drive I have done a fresh/clean install of operating system, fcp, and color. The footage still won't show up. I have put the media and fcp file on a brand new mac pro 8 core and haven't had a problem with the "red" tab working. I have had someone suggest it might be because I am on a macbook and the screen is to small for color. I have worked in color on the macbook many times(for rough coloring) and it works fine. I have even put a 2nd monitor on it and footage still won't show up with the "red" tab on.

Any help would be awesome!!!

My only guess would be the video card in the Mac Book when using R3Ds as I've never experienced this with Color.

Sorry I can't be more help, just wanted to get the answer train moving for you.
