Hi, Tarin. Just a tiny bit of feedback. A color correction tutorial video would be way more effective if you show actual images being color corrected on screen. The information you gave in your video might as well be in written text form since nothing is gained by watching you say the information while you pet your dog.

Hey Julio as I said this is a simple vblog. I will be posting a breakdown video consisting of several tips very soon. My videos contain more advanced tips that are difficult to find online, and which have given me the skills to make a good living from what I do. I know they may be difficult to understand for beginners, but they will be explained in a breakdown when I have time. This is just something i'm doing in between projects that might help others. My videos are not tutorials, but rather tips from several years of personal experience.

two color theorys in play...

the Itten color wheel has the red-green / orange-blue / yellow-violet opposites

the RGB color wheel has red-cyan / blue-yellow / green- magenta opposites

both are valid, Rembrant did ok with the Itten theory afterall

the gear we work with is based on RGB tho, from camera's to monitors, and all stops inbetween..

It still works the same even though you are working with more values and color intensities than what you can achieve with pigment. Graying down or muting down a color works in a similar way by using the complimentary color.
