Hi,
I have done some amount of colour correction and I am quite familiar with resolve, but I want to step up my game.
I have mostly been delivering my stuff on the web, but seems like that will change. On the web, my calibrated apple cinema 30" have been ok.
My edit and colour correction suite as it is now:
Mac pro 2012
12 core 2,66
40 gigs of memory
ssd os disk and internal raid 0
flashed nvidia 680 4 gigs of videomemry
2 x 30 apple cinema display (one of them are burned out, but still works great as a workhorse for other stuff I am doing simultaneously).
I have about 5000 use to use on a monitor or plasma and a card to run them.
I have been checking out fsi and been looking at the 24 and 32 inch monitors. The 50 is overkill and to expensive for me at the moment.
I have a 32 inch plasma tv I can hang on my wall over the apple displays from before - could be used as a Client monitor?
Should I buy a real monitor and have it placed beside my to apple displays and have a plasma hanging over?
Any recommendations? Within my budget?
I mostly grade material from my red epic.
I am thankful for every tips.
Eirik
