  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anybody else have problems with Color 1.5 in Snow leopard. I'm running playback on a DPX 1920x1080 image sequence (rendered from monkey extract) and when I import through EDL things run smoothly on my new 8-core. Realtime playback. But when I restart my computer and reopen the project things start to hang. I try to turn of "maintain frame rate" and still it's jurky. No proxy settings with half res or any settings for that matter makes a difference. Anybody else seen this?

(With R3Ds imported raw, the settings work. Render is slooooooow, though. I know this is normal since Color is all about GPU)

I'm on a two weeks old Mac Pro 8-core, 8 gigs of ram, ATI radeon 4870, playing back from internal harddrive. Snow Leopard.
 
Playing back that size footage from the boot drive or an internal drive (unless its a raid) will be problematic.
