  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Collaborative Effort Anyone?

Hey Shawn, okay, I'm working on my 5 minute script now. Kind of refreshing to only write 5 pages instead of 120. Not any easier, though. lol Soon as I finish, I'll send.

You seams to left out lot of 1.X's, 2.X's and (most importantly):

(4.1) celebrate
(4.2) recover from the hangover
(4.3) ask the girl in Your bed what is her name
(4.4) lodge a "stolen car report"
.
.
.
(4.9) Consider doing it all over again from (1) before going to (5)

Sorry, I missed the important steps once again. Thank you for the reminder.

Hey Shawn, once there's a couple sufficient scripts and rules are set, maybe we can ask Jarred to move the thread, so that more of the Redusers find it. Not sure how many venture down to the Off Topic? Glad you liked my script, btw. :)

If it were to be moved, I think it'd have to be moved to a new discussion entirely.
Rules do need to be set. Working on that and am completely open to suggestions.

I think after this one happens and the screening finishes, this will become a regular "event". I'd love to see how it evolves with prizes and what not.

Just waiting for a few more script entries before kicking this off.
Once there are a few more to pool from, I'll post a new thread to sign up so I can send scripts off to those who want to participate.

Sounds like fun. Hope to take part.

If we can make this a commercially interesting project, I can also release it in theatres as we are doing distribution in certain parts of the world too..

ARES (in Greek mythology) is the God of:

GOD OF WAR & BATTLE
(Patron of: Warriors)

- such a project would be a battle to remember...

GOD OF WAR BOOTY
(Patron of: War booty)

- imagine what we are to gain! (And I am not talking $$$ here...)

GOD OF CITY DEFENSE
(Patron of: City defenses, City defenders)

- we will defend the RED city...

GOD OF CIVIL ORDER
(Patron of: City guards / police)

- we will work together

GOD OF ANGER & VIOLENCE
(Patron of: Rage; Violent deeds; Fights)

- turn our rage and negative energy into something positive...

GOD OF COURAGE & FEAR
(Patron of: Courage; Manliness)

- we will need to achieve this...

It's funny, coming up with names or titles seem harder than doing the scripts themselves. I'm working on another short, just so there are a few more options if need be.

Looks like it's under-way... Will be interesting to see what scripts come up.

Also, you started the new thread in the footage / field tests area... That's fine, but I'm wondering if we should move it to the Cinematography forum section?
