Have you heard the rumor that the Coens might be using a Red for their next movie: "Burn after Reading"?

The folloing is a clipping of an article found at... http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=1046&section=preview

Apparently, the Coens wanted to use the new Red One HD camera for this project. The Red One is a camera that best captures natural light which leads to much more natural looking scenes. Lubezki first used it on Children of Men for which he got an Oscar nomination. I am not really sure why this is so important in a comedy, since ideally the audience will be laughing so much that they will not even notice the cinematography. Thus, I do not think this is as big of a deal as some are making it out to be.

Um, what the hell? I'm pretty sure Lubezki didn't use a RED on Children of Men, considering it didn't exist -- not even a prototype, not even the final SENSOR -- when CoM was shot in early 2006.

So that kind of blows the credibility of that article in general. I'll believe it when RED says it.

Obviously the writer doesn't know jack crap about what he's talking about...considering the fact that Children of Men was shot when RED was first in development...and that it was shot on FILM! All it would take is about 5 minutes of research to find out any of this information!
