Where would a programmer find the SDK files needed to make plug-ins for Vegas Pro 9?

The script SDK is available for download, http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/devkits

but the File I/O SDK and any others that may exist are available to a select few, and there is a NDA involved. That's all I know about it. I do know that someone from Sony Creative Software does (sometimes) monitor their own Sony Vegas forum, and they occasionally respond to questions posted there.

Thanks! I'm trying to avoid NDA's for now. It looks like the scripting SDK will keep me plenty busy anyway.

We need to buy or have written, a dead simple Vegas plug-in to hand over a working ELD to our FCP editor out of Vegas. I think Automatic Duck can handle it, but I'm not convinced it's going to work. It would also be great to pass on scale/pan data into the EDL in legible text for any Vegas reframing/scaling scenarios, or make it a separate plug-in so After Effects can read the info.

from what i know there is NO EDL spec that has pan/crop data passed with it ...

from my experience passing Vegas info to FCP ( had a FCP editor on a project) and from our friend Stephanie project (editor used FCP ) they/we never found a way from Vegas to FCP or FCP to Vegas ...
you might find more in Vegas EDL to Avid and then Avid to FCP (using a 3rd party software) ?

sony use to have a hi end NLE ( can't remember the name ) they stopped selling it ..it could open Veg files correctly ..

Another option might be to code something to the .XML export from Vegas. Pan/crop might be in that. Is pan/crop in the FCP EDL?
