Telescope lenses also

Telescope lenses also

Can we use them with RED?

Providers? Prices?

Thanks.

Why not, just make the image a little fuzzier. Need a +1/2, +1, the +2 and +3 get used not too much. Best to stop down more with the Diopter on, and more still with the higher power ones.

You can also put a Telescope Achromatic on "backwards" to get sharper results, a 1000mm would let you focus from about 3 feet to 2 feet or so.

For closer macro shots you can put a large lens "backwards" in front of your 75mm or 150mm, a large slide projector or over head projector lens could work, they have three elements. Large 8x10 view camera lenses can also work as a Diopter.

For scope and zoom lenses Diopters can be one of the best ways to be able to zoom and rack focus on close objects.
