  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Clock ticking on 1.8" Mags?

What are people's thoughts on how much longer we're going to be able to get 1.8" mags? I don't feel a need to go over to Mini-Mags, so picking up a few more 240's is on my list but not until Spring/Summer.
 
Probably be around for quite awhile but will become less relevant for new cameras as data rates climb. Pretty sure spring/summer isn't pushing it.
 
I asked my bomb squad rep the questions many times before making the jump about a month ago. He said he'd give me a heads up if he ever found out that it might be ending, so maybe put a request in? Seems like no one knows yet!
 
Also, keep in mind that every time someone upgrades to th mini-mag system, they will be faced with selling old SSDs. I doubt the supply will dry up within the next few decades. lol
 
doubt it, they are still selling the original CF cards at the red store arent they?
