Clips Not Optimized for FCP

I am rendering prorez files out of redcine. I am trying to render 1920x1080 prorez 23.976 files, and when i import them into FCP I get a message stating this footage is not optimized for FCP. The settings match my timeline exactly and yet it still says I need to render. I have tried 23.98, 24 and 23.976 all with the same message. I have messed with the quality settings and still get the same message. I am still doing more testing, but has anyone else had this problem. It is not a big issue, if that is the only thing I am using my raid for (BTW I am editing on an octi-core with 5gigs of ram 512mg video card and using a RAID 5 with 4 drives raided together on an external esata enclosure) If I make these files in any other ap, ie. after effects, motion or FCP they work fine. Why am I having trouble with FCP and redcine exports
. I have also tried prorezHQ with the same results. Any advice.

Are the files 2:1?

What happens when you drop them on a fresh sequence?

Ususally FCP would ask you if you would like to change your sequence settings to whatever the clip is.

Thanks, yeah that's what I love about the new FCP2, but I was wrong about the render (well it did say it had to render, but now it does not) but it still says the clips are not optimized. Go figure argggg. P.S. i scroll through the browser and my settings match the sequence exactly and yet it still says the clips are not optimized. the files are 16x9.
