Hey gang, I've hunted around and I can't find anything pertaining to this.

I'm trying to render clips to send to our VFX department (Indie feature shot on red) and they keep erroring out. Clipfinder will render the first clip fine then every one after that goes from having the red negative icon indicating its rendering to a grey one with an X through it.

We're rendering to Prores HQ, HD+ Debayer, 1080 with Lanczos 3 resampling, redspace color and gamma with an RSX file that sets the color temperature to 3200k

Brought all the offline 720p clips into a separate FCP sequence, exported XML, reconformed with clipfinder, imported clips from FCP sequence with Import Subclips checked so it only renders the I/O points from the FCP timeline.

I've reinstalled Redalert, tried it with regular clips (no framehandles) There are no odd charachters in the file paths other than "_"

Oh, and restarting

Don't really know what's going on
Help?

Oh, when it errors out the fps render count jumps backwards to negative.
I have this issue at just about any compression settings, debayers, spaces, resamplings, etc. Look source as camera instead of the RSX file.

This makes me think it's a base level render or quicktime issue?
I'm using Clipfinder 2.2d on an OctoMac (2 X 3ghz Quad Xeons)
The issue happens regardless of Tasks/Cores slider positions.

If the footage is B30 then you can not use that version of QT, RR or clipfinder to render. If it is B21 then you should be OK.

Okay, changed target save directory for the renders to the Macs internal disk and it seems to be running fine. Not that I'm jinxing it or anything.

EDIT: Yep, it was the RAID, everythings running fine. Now to spend the night slaving over the RAID.
EDIT2: 50mb free space, "yep, there's your problem"
