recreating proxies (references) in redalert!

recreating proxies (references) in redalert!

cmd + R will put that file right into redalert! (if you have installed it)
wherein you can recreate the proxies/references (in case they havent been created in the camera or deleted) by using cmd+1/2/3/4.

voilá.

Sebastian thx, but i know this.... nevertheless... it is not working within clipfinder

Martin that works also not....

Just had a look at the documentation. It says

renderincomplete.jpeg
indicates an aborted render operation. Look at the system log to determine the cause of the error.

martin danke !

wo find ich das system log.... in den library logs ?

ahhh where do i find the logs? in the library logs ?

i can see the original proxy and playback when i klick away and again there....

i will reinstall redalert.... but clipfinder is working with the sdk.....

strange

My Clipfinder just started doing this. If I Lift a look and stamp it to multiple other files I get this error. The render icon and a pop-up warning about Proxies. If I check, the Proxies are there. If I re-import, everything goes back correct.

Some files have started giving me this error on import, even though the Proxies are there and recreating the proxies doesn't solve the problem.

Started happening right after I upgraded to 10.5.6.

In case of problems it helps me if you can send me
- the version of Clipfinder that you use (from the "About Clipfinder" menu)
- a description of what you did when the problem occurred
- any log entries relating to Clipfinder (to see the log entries, launch
Applications / Utilities / Console).
- screenshots: usually it helps to see the main window plus the window for the function that causes problems, e.g. Render Window, Documentation Window, etc.

Please mail these to hansgdaun@bluewin.ch.

Cheers,
Hans

Hi Hans,

I'm having trouble rendering 2k pro res files from clipfinder 2.2. I get the aborted render icon beside the clips in a matter of seconds. Would you mind if I sent you the log entries. I'm currently trying to implement the workflow from this tutorial

http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=38496

based on 1080p pro res offline files created in redcine-x. My original R3D's are 4.5k

The problem is caused by the Google Voice and Video plugin for GMail.
I have confirmed that the error appears as soon as this is installed and disappears after you run the uninstaller.
There are numerous reports on the internet about the plugin misbehaving.

I don't have this plug in installed either

Thanks both for getting back to me

does clipfinder 2.5 support firmware versions 30 or newer? The tutorial linked in my original post uses clipfinder 2.2 though and 4.5k R3D's so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I can send the entries from the console log when back in the office tomorrow, thanks for taking a look.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean Gunleik. Do you mean importing the FCP xml into RCX, rendering the 2k files from there, then use Clipfinder to get back to FCP then Color? I did attempt something along these lines but RCX crashed, probably cause I don't have the fastest machine. I could try taking the edit in in bite-sized chunks I suppose.

Appreciate the help guys!
