That's a good thing. He can concentrate on his work and no one can distract him!

You might want to consider a variable speed control on the fan motor. Mine in 220v, so I set it up with a 110>220v step-up, and then a switch that bypasses that. I get two speeds. One very quiet, and one full blast.

We have it on a Variac, but generally have it to a fairly high speed. NYC's a dirty town!

If I had my Mk.II Super Speeds that I sold in 2006 back in my possession, I could sell them and buy a Ferrari. I'll keep an eye on Yngwie Malmsteen's house around the corner to see if he puts a "For Sale" sign on one of his. I like the '62 GTO best.
