Hi everyone,
So I am building up my classic mac pro workstation. I Was wondering if m.2 drives connected via pcie are safe for editing large projects. I ask because I have heard they are prone to overheating. However, from several searches and posts I have read, a proper heatsink is all you really need to keep temps in acceptable ranges. Is anyone using this setup as their edit drive? In raid? SM951? XP941? SSUAX? SSUBX? Lycom adapter? Angel birds?
Thanks,
