I am extremely excited to share two screen grabs from the current project I am working on. This is an incredible team to work with. The director, dp, cast crew.. all awesome. The action choreography by Johnny Tri Nguyen is just insane. (check out his last flick- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1vw7baC0Oo )

I can't wait to have all of you check out this stuff. Guns, swords, martial arts... the director and action want an edgy comic book feel to this film. All in all, the flexibility of the Red Raw workflow is the key here to allowing us to achieve the look we want.

This film is produced by the same production company "Chanh Phuong Film." Their previous martial arts movie (shot on 35mm) was picked up by the Weinsteins.

For a wild behind the scenes of the interior van shot, download this video HERE. This is how we shoot in vietnam. I'm the one with the red helmet doing the red cf card change.

Hey Tonaci

Looked at that traffic behind the scenes shot. Friggin crazy. Is that the AC adjusting the camera from the back of a motorbike while the RED cam is attached to the van? I love this kind of can do approach.

best with the film

In the BTS video the running generator on the polystyrene on top of the travelling van cracked me up. That's one novel way to light your vehicle interiors. 10 out of 10 for ingenuity .. whatever gets you across the line.
