Hi guys, I'm looking at sliders at the moment, I have an old totally DIY one that well deserves to retire. I'm looking for something in the 500-1000$ price range, light, center-mounted.

Of course I'd like to get a Kessler, but being in Europe, the VAT and import taxes take out of my price range at the moment. I came across the Cinevate Duzi slider, which sells for 419$. So with Shipping, VAT and import taxes, around 650$ for me. It seems basic, but enough to cover what I need to do at the moment, until I eventually get a Kessler.

Has anybody tried it? It says on the website it can handle 75lbs of weight? that sounds like a lot to me, almost unrealistic for something that small to be smooth with such weight.
Anyways, I'd love to know what you think!

thanks!

Oh, and the link to the product : http://www.cinevate.com/store2/camera-movement/duzi-camera-slider.html

Good to know. Have you tried it yourself by any chance? I'm curious to know what people think of it.

That is true. I think I will go for it and try to review it. But with Christmas holidays and all, it might not be there before early next year :)
