Just purchased the Raven with the DSMC2 v-lock expander. I'm coming from the HDMI world with the Sony FS100 and a7sii, so all my peripherals are HDMI. I have a Cineroid EVF and the Atomos Assassin, both HDMI only. Anybody monitoring exclusively with HDMI off their cameras? If so, is the workflow reliable, or should I start saving now to dish out the money and upgrade everything to HD-SDI? Thanks.

It is definitely usable, but SDI is an industry standard for a reason. Also, it's important to note that the side pogo connector on the camera will steal your HDMI signal if an EVF or touch screen is attached.

Instead of repurchasing all your accessories, you also might want to look into getting the Wooden Camera C-Box. It'll take the SDI port you're not using and turn it into 2 new HDMI ports and 3 new SDI ports. It also passes through power. I've got one on my Epic Dragon and it practically lives on camera unless I am going as small/light as possible.
