I have a set of six Zeiss contax cine modded PL lenses I'm looking to sell.
I bought the set off eBay a year ago, and they are still in great shape.
The lens fronts are all 95mm, they almost have a full 360 degree focus throw, focus to infinity correctly and the lenses do not move when focusing, only internally. Unfortunately, the 35mm lens wobbles a bit when pulling focus closer to infinity.
The set includes:
21mm f2.8
35mm f2.8
50mm f1.4
85mm f1.4
100mm f2
135mm f2
To be honest I have no idea whether they are AE or MM. Based off the colour of the serial they should be AE but the serial numbers for the lenses are all 73XXXXX+
All I can say is that they are beautiful glass and I've had no problems using them on a lot of jobs over the past year. The only reason I'm looking to sell is to help pay off some debt before Christmas and eventually help fund a zoom lens.
I paid $14000 USD last year. So I'm looking for something around $9,000 usd. They come in their own pelican case.
Please send me an email at john.simatos@gmail.com
Based in Sydney, Australia, will ship world wide at buyers expense.
